A brief Description of The United Kingdom by Darne93
The United Kingdom of The South - Noble, Strong, Democratic, Federal Monarchy ruled by The Solaris Dynasty of The Daren Crown, Reigning over the three kingdoms of The Gaska Etat, Leon's Union and The Crown of The Daren Kingdom.
Long ago in The Elder Age, when gods walked with mortals. The Daren Empire, The oldest and most powerful empire to ever rule Kosma was wealthy, powerful and glorious. But as is the fate of all things, The Empire fell under its own weight. The largest and greatest empire in the history of Kosma shattered. After the fall so began The Dark Age in which warlords, barbarians, princes, priests and even merchants struggled, fought and died to claim the fractured territories of the empire.
After centuries of bloodshed and destruction the shadows of the dark age subsided and The Age of Enlightenment dawned. In the Heartland of the former Empire a number of small states or independent cities, had risen from the ashes, vying for territorial dominance. After decades of conflict, two countries managed to gain control of the region and forged a mighty union between The Gaska Etat and The Daren Kingdom.
Soon after The Union started a series of conquests to expand thier territory to include The Protectorate of Azonia, The Naksan Duchy and The Republic of Trazzyt. After decades of peace and prosperity The Might of the Solaris Dynasty was almost destryed by the single bloodiest event in the history of Kosma, The Great War.
After the long, painful and bloody Great War against The Dwarven Kingdom of Akurse and The Empire of Faronia, The strength and stability of the Solaris Dynasty was weakening under the strain. The culmination of these events was The Azonian Protectorate Independence War and The Naksan Duchy Rebellion, Reinforced by The Republic of Trazzyt and The Free City of Leon, The Naksan Duchy tried to cut their ties with the corrupt and dying dynasty.
The King Gaspar Solaris I fearing anarchy and civil war, took a series of tactical measures to ensure the survival of his dynasty. After gaining the support of various reformist parties, he began using a combination of bribery, flattery, threats and military steps to quell the various uprisings. With the reformist parties now having a majority seat in parliament, They began a period of constitutional, governmental and economic reforms. During The Royal Reformation period, the price for peace was the independence of The Azonian Protectorate and greater parliamentary representation for the countries of The Naksan Island, forging a more perfect United Kingdom of The South
The United Kingdom is now an expediently growing power, having normalized relations with their former territories and joining The Confederacy of Free Nations. Now many dream of a leadership within the C.F.N and many more dream of a new Daren Empire.
